Cardiff, Wales
Cardiff Metropolitan University is spread across three campuses in Wales's capital city, with around 12,000 students from 140 different countries currently enrolled. It was originally founded as the Cardiff School of Art & Design in 1865 and became an independent university from the University of Wales in 2011.
With five academic schools delivering professionally recognised degrees, together with impactful research and innovation, in art and design, business and management, education and public services, sport and health sciences, and technologies and engineering, Cardiff Met aims to be the capital of EDGE – a series of Ethical, Digital, Global and Entrepreneurial skills that seeks to give students the advantage to excel in their careers which are embedded in the curriculum of all the modern, innovative programmes on offer.
The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide named Cardiff Metropolitan University as Welsh University of the Year 2021. Ipswich, England
The University of Suffolk, based in Ipswich, is a new kind of university home to just under 5,000 students from almost 70 different countries. With its idyllic waterfront campus in the city's heart and proximity to London, the University is not to be overlooked.

Based on a world heritage site by the Bank of the Thames, the University of Greenwich has campuses in London and Kent, hosting around 35,000 students from over 130 countries.

Aberdeen, Scotland
The University of Aberdeen was founded in 1495, making it the third-oldest university in Scotland and fifth oldest in the UK. Five Nobel Prize winners are associated with the University, and students electing to study at Aberdeen would be joining a varied and thriving community of around 12,000 students worldwide.
The University of Aberdeen offers first-class learning resources situated in a beautiful campus. At the main campus, you will find ancient buildings with modern, newly refurbished laboratories, excellent computing facilities and the latest library technology. Social and sporting facilities are of a high standard, with over 150 sports clubs and societies available for students to join.
Roughly half of University of Aberdeen students study medicine, science or engineering, with arts and social sciences also popular. Plymouth, England
The University of Plymouth is one of the largest universities in the UK, with over 23,000 students, including around 2,000 international students from over 100 countries, enrolled. It can trace its roots back to the Plymouth School of Navigation, founded in 1862 and was formally given full university status in 1992.
Plymouth was awarded the Queen's Anniversary Prize in 2012 for its worldwide reputation for marine and maritime education and research and 11 Plymouth University courses were recently rated among the top ten in the UK for student satisfaction. The city is also ranked 11th in the UK for most cost-effective places to study. Over 12,000 Plymouth students per year benefit from placements and work-based learning.
It is currently the only post-1992 university to have its own medical school, and has strong partnerships with other universities and institutions in the south west. Various departments have undergone much development in recent years, particularly the library and student union, faculties of Health and Education and Society and Marine Science.

Ulster, Northern Ireland
Ulster University is located in Northern Ireland has four campuses in Belfast, Coleraine, Magee College and Jordanstown, and a fifth virtual campus, Campus One, online. Each campus has a different focus, meaning that students will generally spend their entire time at the University on a single site, and more than 2,000 international students from over 50 countries are currently enrolled.
Over 90% of Ulster graduates are in work or further study six months after graduation, and more than 4,000 students have successfully completed eLearning courses at Ulster University. The Times Higher Education 100 Under 50 rankings classified Ulster as a leading modern University and in the top 100 globally.
The University of Ulster place a strong focus on employability, with many courses receiving professional accreditation and including work placements. This also leads to certain unique facilities, like FireSERT: a postgraduate teaching and PhD programme which focuses on fire safety science and engineering.
Leeds, England
Leeds Beckett University is one of the most popular universities in the UK with a history dating back almost 200 years. More than 150 undergraduate and 190 postgraduate courses are offered, as well as foundation and pre-sessional English programmes. The University aims to give students a top-quality learning experience and state-of-the-art facilities are one of the many reasons why more than 24,000 students study at their two Leeds based campuses.
The University places a strong focus on employability after graduation and all courses include at least two weeks of work-related learning per year. Work placements are encouraged and very popular, with nearly half of all students taking a sandwich course. Leeds' stated aims are to have every graduate enterprising, digitally literate and with a global outlook.
