The following universities will be attending the next UK University Fair in Kathmandu.

The University of Aberdeen was founded in 1495, making it the third oldest university in Scotland and fifth oldest in the UK. Five Nobel Prize winners are associated with the University and students electing to study at Aberdeen would be joining a varied and thriving community of around 12,000 students from around the world.
The University of Aberdeen offers first class learning resources situated in a beautiful campus. At the main campus you will find ancient buildings side by side with modern, newly refurbished laboratories, excellent computing facilities and the latest library technology. Social and sporting facilities are of a high standard with over 150 sports clubs and societies available for students to join.
Roughly half of University of Aberdeen students study medicine, science or engineering, with arts and social sciences also popular. The University of Birmingham is a beautiful redbrick university, with a leafy green campus, located in the city of Birmingham, just over 150km north of London.

The University of Bolton was initially founded in 1824 as the Bolton Mechanics institute, before going through a number of changes and eventually being given taught degree awarding powers in 1990, and the title University of Bolton in 2005.
Over 30 University of Bolton courses are professionally accredited, including British Psychological Society and the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Bolton is also a leading UK institution when catering for students with disabilities of all kinds.

UK Campuses
Cardiff Metropolitan University is spread across three campuses in Wales capital city, with around 12,000 students from 140 different countries currently enrolled. It was originally founded as the Cardiff School of Art & Design in 1865, and became an independent university from the University of Wales in 2011.
The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide named Cardiff Metropolitan University as Welsh University of the Year 2021. The University also leapt 33 places in the league table, which is the institution’s highest ever jump in this guide and the third highest rise of any university in the UK this year.
The Welsh University of the Year 2021 accolade recognises Cardiff Met’s strong performance in this year’s National Student Survey where the University featured in the UK top 40 for both satisfaction with teaching quality and the wider student experience.
The University is well known for art & design, which performed very well in the most recent Research Excellence Framework.

The University of Chester is one of the oldest higher education providers in the UK, having recently celebrated its 182nd year of teaching. With 15,000 students from 130 countries worldwide, Chester provides a vibrant, diverse and safe home for those travelling from overseas to study.
Based on the reviews of 41,000 students across 150 institutions, the university is currently placed at number two in the UK for international students (WhatUni? 2020).

Lancaster University is a highly ranked UK university with a global reputation for excellence in research and teaching. Lancaster is consistently ranked among the top 15 in all three major UK university league table, and continues to build a growing reputation both nationally and internationally.

Leeds Beckett University is one of the most popular universities in the UK with a history dating back almost 200 years. The University aims to give students a top-quality learning experience and state-of-the-art facilities are one of the many reasons why more than 24,000 students study at their two Leeds based campuses.
The University places a strong focus on employability after graduation and all courses include at least two weeks of work-related learning per year. Work placements are encouraged and very popular, with nearly half of all students taking a sandwich course. Leeds' stated aims are to have every graduate enterprising, digitally literate and with a global outlook.
Leeds Beckett University has nine teaching fellows and seven prestigious Higher Education Academy national teacher fellows. Following the most recent National Student Survey, student satisfaction at the school is 85%.

Queen Margaret University is a modern university located in Musselburgh, near Edinburgh, Scotland. It was Scotland’s first university to be founded in the 21st century and currently has around 6,500 students enrolled from over 70 countries.

Solent has been a university since 2005, incorporated as an independent higher education institution in 1989, the University's origins can be traced back to a private School of Art founded in 1856.
